The continued Life of Jesus through the Apostles

Joppa

It is now called Jaffa,  and is built on a rocky mount 116 feet high at the edge of the sea.

Tel Aviv-Jaffa on the Mediterranean coast is today Israel's major and largest metropolitan center. Jaffa has a long history, but Tel Aviv is a comparatively new city founded in 1909. In Old Testament times, David and Solomon occupied Jaffa and used it as a port to receive timber from Lebanon.
